Referring to telephone conversations with your technical
representatives, is pleased to clarify our
The costs submitted for follow-on quantities are per pair.
Our quotation for Phase I in the design and development of
a prototype is attached. Phase II costs are represented
by the difference between Phase I costs and the total cost
as listed in the summary sheet submitted on September 28, 1966.
Shop drawings will be supplied as you have requested. In
addition, our final design for the prototype will be revised
to permit one handed operational adjustments wherever
practical.
The enclosed drawings may serve to further clarify the
concept proposed for the Improved Anamorphic Eyepieces.
The drawing has been annotated to point out the intended
interface of the eyepiece with the High Power Stereoviewer.
This is indicated by points A and Al.
