Gentlemen:
Performance on the subject contract has been evaluated
by your technical representative and minor corrections
are now being incorporated Into the anamorphic eyepieces.
Although engineering costs are within contract funds, the
manufacturing costs have exceeded our original estimates.
This is due principally to problems experienced in the
fabrication of the glass wedges which are smaller than
any made in the past by A summary of total
anticipated costs is at .
To allow for completion of the prototype anamorphic eye-
pieces, including required manuals, it is requested that
additional costs as indicated in the attached cost summary
be allocated to the contract. The time required will be
approximately thirty days, therefore the completion date
should be revised to be February 1, 1967.

appreciated.
