MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
REF: Image Enhancement Viewer Contract with Itek
A telephone call was made to the Office of Special Activities
(OSA) to determine the present status of funding for the Image
Enhancement Viewer from the Itek Corporation of Boston. It was
established that is now the contracting officer
and may be reached on extension 69 6.
Funding for the entire viewer proposal originally was $83,580.
Of this amount $28,462 was used for Phase I of the contract. As of
3 October 1963 $55,118 was available for Phase II, which was never
put into effect. The proposed extension of this contract, to bring
it to a conclusion, requires $49,186. Initial funds will be $5,932
over the cost of the contract extension.
