Stereo Light Table is a table top instrument sixteen inches
wi e an eighteen inches deep. With its stereoscope mounting post,
overall height is eleven inches.
a) A base assembly including control panel.
b) A tilting lamp table assembly including dual cold
cathode lamp grids, diffusion glass, film retaining
clips and stereoscope mounting post, with adjustable
ring mount.
A pair of swivel brackets and locking knobs guides and locks into
angular position the tilting light table assembly. A tilt range of zero
to forty-five degrees is provided.
110 volt AC is required to illuminate the light table, and all operational
adjustments are made manually.
When using the instrument, which accommodates cut film rather than
roll film, the two stereo negatives, or positive transparencies, are
placed side by side on the viewing screen and retained in position by
the spring clips. The viewing lamp grids are turned on by means of
the two push button switches on the control panel.
For more convenient and comfortable operation, the lamp table assembly
can be tilted upward and forward on its base to the desired viewing angle
within a range of zero to forty-five degrees. To do this,
a) Loosen the locking knob on the lower right hand side
of the instrument.
b) Swing the two guide brackets forward.
c) Grasp the lift handle and raise the lamp table to the
desired position.
d) Lock with the locking screw.
NOTE: The guide brackets are detented in five degree
increments.

To provide for viewing negatives or positives of varying density, an
illumination control is provided in dual form. Two knobs on the
control panel, one for each lamp grid, are used to vary light.intensity
over an approximate ten to one range. They should be turned and set
at the best position for maximum image detail and eye comfort.
