In accordance with References (1) and (2) above,
25 is submitting herewith a request for
additional overrun funds under subject contract. This request for
overrun funds supersedes our request of 18 August 1967, Reference (3)
above. The increase in funds over that requested in Reference (3) is
due to the additional effort incurred in returning the unit to
and its disassembly for the purposes of studying the possibility of
making redesigns to eliminate the high intensity light source and to
add features to the design to reduce the noise level experienced
during operation.
Our request for additional funds is divided into several
categories to assure that all aspects of our request are understood,
and you have the option to select those which you desire, based on
available funding within your organization.
