PRESENT STATUS
Design and detailing 90?% completed. Long lead items
are about to be released. It has been decided to proceed with the
fabrication even though approval of the power assist has not been
given. This decision is based on delivery commitments.
The damaged I versatile stereoscope has not yet
been repaired by the manufacturer.
PROBLEM AREAS
tower Assisted Driva
Satisfactory demonstration of the electronic
power assisted drive has not yet been achieved. However, it is
planned to proceed with fabrication due to consideration of the
delivery date. It is expected that a successful demonstration
will be held in the very near future.
Tx ack na ??ight Sources
The design problems with the high intensity
tracking light sources reported last month have not been resolved.
However, fabrication of parts will begin with the belief that the
remaining design problems will be resolved during the assembly.

PROJECTED WORK FOR APRIL
80% of the fabricated parts will be released and all
long lead subcontract work will be placed.
