PRESENT STATUS
All fabricated parts have been released with the ex-
ception of a few parts required for the high intensity tracking
light sources.
The main castings have been received from the foundry
and are undergoing inspection.

coming inspection has reported that the instrument is in good
physical condition. The unit has not been tested optically,
however.
PROBLEM ARE,,AS
Tracking Light Sources.- The design problems with the
high intensity tracking light sources reported previously have not
been resolved. However, to prevent further delay in delivery,
fabrication of the balance of the instrument is under way with
the belief that the reamaining design problems will be resolved
early in the assembly phase.

PROJECTED WORK FOR JULY (3 Week Period)
Fabrication of parts will be 25% completed. It is
doubted whether any subassemblies will be started. ,
