SUBJECT: Briefing SchQd.u1o for
1. It is anticipated that all
personnel who will be engaged in the
analysis of NPIC's substantive data base will be fully cleared
(SI, T-KH) by 18 March 1966. In that event, they intend to begin
work on the contract on 21 March 1966.
2. The first six days will be devoted almost exclusiv-1y to
acqu-..aa;..Ling the _ analysts with the mission and functions of
NPIC its subordinate components, and the det ac,r..ents which
uti__ :e NPIC facilities through a series of ri::-ntation briefings
by i-Ia various components. Following the orientation briefings,
a sL-ies of discussions will be arranged as required between
individual analysts and the various components to obtain
.:ore detailed in:':rmation needed for the study. It is requested
hat your co:mpon be prepared to provide such a briefing in
accordance with the attached Briefing Schedule (Attachment 1).
The analysts have submitted guidelines as to the
e of information they hope to acquire from these briefings. A
copy of these guidelines is also attached (Attachment 2).
4. Queries regarding the briefings may be directed to
Room 1-S1-T1l-, Extension 3616. Please supply
with the number of the room in which the briefing will be given.
