This analysis will deal strictly with an advanced information handlirrg-
system and not delve into a materials handling system or a data link
system. This study will result in the formulation of an integrated infor-
mation processing system concept and of the design specifications which the
concept embodies.
The physical movement, storage and retrieval of materials such as roll-
film, maps, charts, and reports will not be studied under this contract. On
the other hand, remote display of comparative coverage and the Minicard
system in relation to remote display will be studied.
This contract will not cover the development of data block and time
pip readers.
