Phasolver linear measuring
for a measuring engine.
(potential proposal)
They are preparing a proposal to demonstrate
feasibility of applying the phasolver techniques
to high accuracy linear measuring. The proposal will
be &n-tit for two phases:
Phase 1: Preparation of a pattern which will permit
demonstrating measurement to 1 micron,
Phase 1A: There is one linear pattern available
which they will mount to demonstrate the technique
of measuring. wirtk-a Salty: position over many
inches without ambiguity. The accuracy of this pattern
is not known so the accuracy of this measurement will
be determined during the demonstration phase.
The proposal will be ready in about two weeks. The
mechanical design and layout is complete, the electrical
description is being prepared, pricing will be
completed next week.
