Business machine must hold closure between remote release lead RR pin 19 and remote
control lead RC pin 20 in order for data set to get into data mode - aragraph 2.2-t-1
of the_ interface specifications. should have a copy. counter STATINTL
doesnot make that closure and the two leads must be permenehIly stra.pe together in
the counter. This can be done either at the cable connectors or any convenient place.
That would prevent transmission from taking place. It would be desirable to strap
those leads together before he comes here.
