3. General Description
There exists a requirement for a, code matrix reader to provide
rapid read out of a.uxilla.ry data recorded incoded form /gds a,
compact matrix a d dots exposed in the margin of each film pxi? frame.
4. Requirements.
The code matrix reader shall provide the following:
a. Capability of reading out a uxilla.ryd ata in the
2x~ form of ttama.trix g? dots in the m margin of
each film frame.` A
b. Capibility of accepting 1,000 ft, rolls of 35 mm
through 9z inch 1~ input f2AMi ilms;
c. Capability of positive~x axmEk accurate read out
regardless of pla.cementLof a.uxillary digital data. as long
as it is Parallel to or %ed with the photo frame.

d. The data block formats are x undeterminable beyond that

specified in 782A. However, this reader shall
have comformity to any formats by replaceable reading heads
designed for specific formatsx as they come into being.
