On 22 March' II described his development work and
demonstrated the performance of the High Dispersion Photographic Phase
Gratings for I of our organization. It was suggested that
further work on the manufacturing process for the Gratings be undertaken
After consideration and discussion of such a project,, it
is our opinion that the technology developed by 0 lies outside
existing capabilities available within our staff. For us to undertake
this project would require the reassignment of engineers and technicians
already committed to other projects or the lengthy process of training
new personnel.
We do not believe it is in the best interest of our
customer or ourselves to propose for this development effort.
