2. You will note in the penultimate paragraph on
Page 2 a statement by the Contractor that this work was
let on a FP Research and Development Contract. You will
recall in our previous discussions, I referred to the fact
that this Contract was on a FP Supply basis; General Pro-
visions for FP Supply Contract is in our copy of the Con-
tract file. I have checked with the Office of Finance and
determined that their copy includes General Provisions for
a FP Research & Development Contract. Since there is an
apparent: conflict, I would appreciate your comments as to
your intent and the intent of at the time
of negotiation of the Contract, i.e. whether the provisions
of R&D or Supply type Contract prevail.
3. Since the Contractor is anxious to hear from us
on his request for relief .1 would appreciate receiving your
