HASANUDDIN AIRFIELD, MANDAI, INDONESIA 25X1 D References: USATC, Series 100, 0984-9999-100, 1st ed, Feb 57 (S) NPIC Project N-550/64 Hasanuddin Airfield (Figures 1 and 2), a military facility, is located in Indonesia on the island of Celebes, one nm east of Mandai and 9.5 nm NE of Makasar. The airfield has two runways, one 5,800 x 185 ft NW/SE, serviceable, asphalt and one (probably abandoned) 5,300 x 190 ft ENE/WSW, concrete and asphalt, currently used as a parking apron. Facilities include five small hangars, three hard surface parking aprons (constructed after- and approximately 60 support buildings.
