Hasanuddin Airfield (Figures 1 and 2), a
military facility, is located in Indonesia on the
island of Celebes, one nm east of Mandai and
9.5 nm NE of Makasar.
The airfield has two runways, one 5,800
x 185 ft NW/SE, serviceable, asphalt and one
(probably abandoned) 5,300 x 190 ft ENE/WSW,
concrete and asphalt, currently used as a parking
apron. Facilities include five small hangars,
three hard surface parking aprons (constructed
after- and approximately 60 support
buildings. An operations building, POI, storage
facilities, a control tower and an asphalt parking
apron, 820 x 225 ft, are located on the NW
edge of the airfield, near the intersection of the
