The installation is connected by seconda.x?y roads to the Minsk-Marina Gorka highway, but is not rail served. Minsk Army Barracks Uruchye(AL-1)islocatedllkmnorth- east, Minsk/Machulishche Airfield is 5 km northwest, and an SA-2 SAM site is located 2 km west. Other military installations are located in the Minsk area. The area covers approximately eight acres and contains nine semiburied POL tanks and one support building {Figures 2 and 3). Two 25X1 D 25X1 D 25X1 D 25X1 D 25X1 D ground scars from the installation to the air- field indicate a possible pipeline connecting the POL storage area to a rail unloading point at the airifield. Small scale photography precludes determination of security measures.
