The series is being coordinated, published and disseminated by NPIC. The photographic analysis is being performed by the NPIC Photographic Analysis Group, the CIA Photographic Intelligence Division (NPIC), and the Production Center 1Plc (DIA). The photographic analysis for this particular re- port was performed by the Production Center 1P lc. In the interest of uniformity, the titles and letter designators for the facilities observed at these installations are identical with those appearing in the project requirement. When a specific facility is not observed both its title and letter designator are omitted in the report. The major structures found within the area (Figures 2 and 3) are 14 multistory barracks, three barracks, five multistory administrative buildings, 15 administrative buildings, two vehi- cle maintenance buildings, four vehicle storage buildings, one possible vehicle storage building, 22 storage buildings, two possible storage build- ings, two ammunition storage buildings, one possible ammunition storage building, and 36 support buildings. Training facilities include two athletic fields, two small-arms ranges, one probable free-fall jump tower, one probable jump tower, nine probable mock-up cargo-type planes, four possible mock-up trainer-type planes, and three empty emplacement pads. The installation is active and little change increasing improvement in the quality of photog- raphy shows buildings which are not new but which could not be previously identified on earlier photography. 25X1 25X1 Railroad Service The installation has rail access to the single-track $uchach-Chortkov rail line. Road Service The installation is served by all-weather roads. Administrative and Troop Housing Areas Area D1 contains five multistory barracks, two barracks, two multistory administrative buildings, two administrative buildings, one storage building, and eight support buildings. Area D2 contains three multistory barracks, two multistory administrative buildings, one storage building, and 10 support buildings. Area D3 contains six multistory barracks, one barracks, one multistory administrative building, eight administrative buildings, four storage buildings, and 11 support buildings. General Storage Areas Area El, a secured open storage area, contains one administrative building. Area E2, a secured open storage area., contains three storage buildings. Area E3 contains one administrative build- ing, seven storage buildings, and one support building. Ammunition Storage Areas Area Fl contains one administrative build- ing, one 85- by 40-foot ammunition storage building, and one 40- by 40-foot ammunition storage building. Area F2 contains one 95- by 35-foot possible ammunition storage building. Other Buildings or Structures Area Ill is a probable free-fall jump tower with one support building. Area 142 contains one administrative build- ing, one storage building, nine probable mock- up cargo planes, four possible mock-up trainer- type planes, and three empty placement pads. Area H3 is a probable jump tower. Area J2 contains one 190- by 35-foot vehicle storage building and one storage building. Area J3 contains one 195- by 55-foot pos- sible vehicle storage building and one storage building. Area J4 contains one 290- by 35-foot vehicle storage building, one administrative building, three storage buildings, and five support buildings. Athletic Fields Two athletic fields are indicated as Areas K1 and K2. Small-Arms Firing Ranges Areas L1 and L2 are small-arms firing ranges. L1 is 160 by 50 feet, and L2 is 600 by 40 feet.
