Baranovichi Air Depot Long Range is loca-
ted 25 kilometers (km) southwest of Baranovichi
(53-08N 026-01E) and one km south of the
village of Lesnaya. The Brest-Baranovichi rail
line passes the northern edge of the installation
but does not provide rail service. The depot
is served by a secondary access road which con-
nects with the main all-weather highways ex-
tending from Brest to Baranovichi and from
Brest to Bobruysk. The Baranovichi Barracks
and Maneuver Area (TA-1) is located 7 km north
and is connected to the storage area by a sec-
ondary road. Other military installations inthe
area include Ammunition Storage Area Paul-
inovo, 8 km northeast, and the Ammunition
Storage Area Lesnaya North, 11 km northeast.
This large secured installation enclosed by
a 160-foot wide fire break covers approximately
350 acres and contains a double secured inner
area. The inner area contains 25 storage
buildings and an open probable vehicle park lo-
cated at the south end. The outer area contains
one administration and 11 support buildings.
