This training area, associated with Slonim
Army Barracks and Ordnance Depot (BE No
covers approximately 1280 acres
and is located 1.6 miles (2.6 kilometers) south
of Slonim at 53-04N 025-19E (Figure 1). It
contains an explosives storage area, a storage
area, possible motor pool, a 990 by 165-foot
small arms firing range, and atracked-vehicle
driver training area covering approximately
400 acres.

east-west direction immediately north of

No artillery firing positions or impact
areas, bivouac areas or tent camps, engineer
training or water-crossing training sites, air-
borne or air transportability training facilities,
or rail loading ramps were observed.
This training area, associated with Slonim
Army Barracks Albertin (BE No-
covers approximately 3,100 acres and is lo-
cated 4.5 miles (7.2 kilometers) southeast of
Slonim at 53-03N 025-24E.
It contains a probable infantry combat
course, awheeled-vehicle driver training area,
one moving target tank firing range with a max-
imum target distance of 3,415 feet from static
firing line to target, two 1,590-foot firing lanes
and two target runs; and another moving target
