This report is a partial answer to DIA
requirement DIAXX 63-84, to verify the loca-
tion of selected military installations in Hun-
gary and to perform a photo analysis of these
installations to determine function, number
and dimensions of buildings, to estimate troop
capacity, to identify and describe related train-
ing areas and facilities, and to confirm or ne-
gate ammunition and POL storage. This report

This secured military installation located
2.5 miles southeast of Papa covers 68 acres
and contains:
5 probably three-story barracks build-
ings, 290 by 45, 245 by 55, 200 by 55,
190 by 55, and 165 by 55 feet
6 probably two-story barracks buildings,
one 190 by 65 feet, one 155 by 45 feet,
three 145 by 45 feet each, and one T-
shaped with a 120- by 45-foot base and
a 65- by 45-foot wing
1 L-shaped, probably one-story barracks
building with a 110- by 45-foot base and
a 45- by 35-foot wing, a total for the

A training area located adjacent to the
southwest side of the barracks area covers 44
acres and contains:
3 small arms ranges, one 860 by 110 feet
and two 220 by 45 feet, and trench

cated in the west section of Papa Airfield con-
tains buried storage tanks which are too faintly
imaged for mensuration. The size and con-
