1. CAMERA B 7 WAS USED IN MISSION 3720 FLOWN ON 13 SEPTEMBER
1963; PROCESSING WAS ACCOMPLISHED BY NAVY PIC.
2. ORIGINAL NEGATIVE:
A. THE EXPOSURE WAS ADEQUATE, THE RESOLUTION GOOD.
B. 9R SIDE: THERE ARE AN AVERAGE NUMBER OF EMULSION DIGS,
PINHOLES AND BLISTERS THROUGHOUT.
C. 9L SIDE: A SERIES OF MINUS DENSITY DOTS 1.32" FROM THE
OUTBOARD EDGE RUNS PARALLEL TO THE MAJOR AXIS OF THE FILM FOR THE
ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE MISSION. BETWEEN FRAMES 143 AND 533, THERE
ARE SEVERAL INSTANCES WHERE THE TITLING HAS BEEN OBLITERATED, AND NEW
TITLING APPLIED. A SINGLE PLUS DENSITY DOT, ROUGHLY IN THE CENTER
THE FORMAT IS FOUND ON FRAMES 0309 1032, 1035, 1037t 1039 AND dowcJ'ii

1043. TWO PLUS DENSITY ABRASIONS 0.1" APART AND 2.8" FROM THE
OUTBOARD EDGE RUN THROUGH FRAMES 2000 TO 2032.
D. BOTH SIDES: FOR THE FIRST 130 FRAMES, AND IN THE LAST
949 (FRAMES 1535 TO 2484) THE METERING IS QUITE ERRATIC. ACTUAL
OVERLAP OF 0.3" WAS NOTED ON FRAMES 39 AND 40 AND SEVERAL OTHER PLACES.
INSTANCES WHERE FRAMES TOUCH ARE COMMON. THERE IS THE USUAL DROP-OFF
IN ACUITY IN THE TAKE-UP AND OUTBOARD CORNER WHICH IS
CHARACTERISTIC OF CAMERA NUMBER 7. THE TOTAL NUMBER OF TITLED FRAMES
IS 2484.
E. ASIDE FROM THE MISMETERING AND SOFT CORNER NOTED ABOVE,
THERE WERE NO CAMERA MALFUNCTIONS:
3. POSITIVE:
A. PI SUITABILITY IS GOOD, PRINTING AND PROCESSING ARE GOOD.
B. CLOUDS OBSCURED APPROXIMATELY 50 PER CENT OF THE PHOTOGRAPHY.
