SUBJECT Amendment to Records Control Schedule 93-67-1
This memorandum is a request for approval to amend item
No. 1A of Records Control Schedule 93-67-1 to read as follows:
a. BRIEFING FILES:
TEMPORARY. Disposal authorized. Destroy when
superseded, obsolete, or no longer required for
reference purposes except that material determined
to be of future value which will be transferred to
the Records Center for one year. (GRS 19-14)
b. VU GRAPHS: (BRIEFING FILES)
PERMANENT. Disposal not authorized. Transfer to
Agency Archives as historical records when graphs
have been superseded, declared obsolete, or no longer
required for reference purposes. (GRS 19-4)
Storage space for this type of files is very critical.
Therefore, expeditious handling of this request for approval
will be appreciated.
