1. In order that we toy write the scope of work for the subject
project, the following information should be supplied to this office
as soon as possible:
a. Who is to be responsible for the external cations
to the distribution breakers of Bus 1 and Bus 2 on the -free
standin ; cubicle?
(1) If the contractor is responsible, information is
needed on size and location of the panel boards which are to
be energized by the distribution breakers.
(2) If the contractor is not responsible, upon installa-
tion of the new cubicle, what distribution breakers, it any,
should the existing two circuits be connected to?
2. The location of the synchroecope is needed.

3. Drawings of the UPS shoring outline of the unit, overall
dimensions, base mounting plans, including isolators, and the location
and size of all external electrical connections, fuel. oil connections,
lute oil and coolant drains, and exhaust connections. Are all UPS
controls contained within the UPS unit, eliminating control wire between
the UPS unit and the cubicle? Where is the UPS remote control
panel located and who is to be responsible for its connections?
Li The plans call for the minimum number of wires necessary to
ccamplete the proposed interconnections. If spare wires are included,
this will necessitate an increase in conduit size in some cases.
5. Drawings of the existing installation are needed. These should
include all external mechanical and electrical connections of the existing
equipment, along with existing electrical and mechanical interconnections
and controls.
