MEMORANDUM FOR: Deputy Director of Central Intelligence
SUBJECT : Nominations for the Senior Officer Schools
for the 1966-67 Sessions
1. This memorandum submits a recommendation for your
approval. Such recommendation is contained in paragraph 3.
2. The CIA Training Selection Board has concluded a series
of meetings during which it considered all candidates nominated by the
Deputy Directors for attendance at the 1966-67 sessions of the Senior
Defense Colleges, the Advanced Management Program at Harvard,
and the Senior Seminar in Foreign Policy at the Department of State.
The members of the Board carefully reviewed backgrounds and official
personnel folders of all candidates, and later interviewed thirty-five
individuals who were available in the headquarters area. In addition,
I asked the Director of Personnel, the Director of Security, the Director
of Medical Services, and the Inspector General for any information that
might adversely affect any candidate=s ability to represent the Agency
in the best possible light.
3. The individuals named below have successfully met the
standards imposed by the Board, and I recommend that you approve
these candidates to attend the schools indicated:
