After a period of considerable expansion
of`N.I.P.A., we are reorganizing our internal
responsibilities to provide both better service
in education related to career development and
improved program operations. Mr. John McGwire
of our staff is assuming the principal operating
responsibility for the Career Education Awards
Program and the Educational Program in Systematic
Analysis. I will continue to be available to
support and assist John, but he will be the
principal program contact. He will be working
with you and your staff in the nomination, selec-
tion and placement of people for our career
development programs.
He will be contacting your secretary shortly
for an appointment to talk about the plans for
the 1968 Career Education Awards.
It has been a pleasure working with you so
closely in the past, and I look forward to a
continued relationship in my revised role with
the N.I.P.A.
