SUBJECT Meeting of the Support Services
Historical Board
1. There will be a meeting of the Support Services
Historical Board with the Historical Officers of the
various DD/S Offices on Thursday, 1 December 1966, at
10:00 a.m. in the DD/S Conference Room, 7D34.
2. At the meeting we will discuss:
a. The status of the historical programs
of the DD/I and DD/S&T;
0
b. The types of historical papers to be
produced by the various elements of DD/S;
c. The problems involved in the production
of historical papers.
3. Each Historical Officer present at the meeting
will be asked to prepare, in conjunction with appropriate
personnel in his area, a list of the historical papers to
be written by his Office with, if possible, the names of
those who will write them. The deadline for these contri-
butions will be announced at the meeting.
4. 1 realize that this is very short notice, but
-l or t:-:e meeting there are no papers to be prepared and
no hor.ework to be done except for as much consideration as
you can give to the problem. Therefore, I believe that
an early exchange of views will be very beneficial. -
