Overseas Assignment
CONFIDENTIAL
DDS Rotation
In accord with his midcareer program, has been
made available to the DDS for an overseas assignment in an administrative
capacity.
Illness/Injury
1, Budget ~ Fiscal Branch, returned to work on
Thursday, 22 July, following his recovery from injuries sustained in
a fall from a ladder on ilk July while making repairs on his house.
2. (recovering from leg surgery performed at
Walter Reed Hospital several weeks ago, is now up and around the
premises in a wheelchair. lie is confident that he will walk out of
the hospital one of these days. The medical men estimate that he
will be confined to Walter Reed until December.~reportedly has
had few visitors but certainty would like to have more. Colonel White
stopped in to see him a few weeks ago, bu was elsewhere at the
time. Colonel White left a note for him w c appreciated
immensely.

Personnel Processing
duties are being absorbed by Staffs and Schools and
OTR Personne t s expected that the respective Schools and Staffs
will acquire the instructor development duties performed by the
Educational Officer while OTR/Personnel will be responsible for
introducing new personnel to and his Instructional Services
facilities.
