A. SIGNIFICANT ITEMS
None to report.
B. OTHER ACTIVITIES
1. has completed her part of the
Teachers' Training Course for the instructors of
the Chinese Department. This consisted of giving
them the first lessons of a beginning French course.
This was an interesting and productive
experience for 25X1A
They realize themselves that they now
have a far clearer understanding of the problems
of a student in an intensive foreign language
course. This will be of great value to them not
only in the classroom but even more in the prepara-
tion of drills and course materials.
2. The language laboratories were used a
total of 1106 hours during the four-week period
ending 31 October; before hours 79, after hours
112 and 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday in Arlington
Towers.
