Reference my last Weekly concerning the Defense Management Systems Course at Monterey -- Mr. Mogin called and informed me that there had been a cancellation and we could now send one student I called Mr. John Clarke's office to verify which of his nominees would attend. His secretary informed me that he had also been in communication with the Pentagon. Mr. Clarke is delighted that one space is now available. 4. At I request you and I met 25X1 with him on 6 December concerning his request for handling External Training monies. He hopes to solve the problem of their location and lack of transportation, especially for priority cases. At an earlier date, requested a 25X1 fund be set up for Training. Colonel White in turn asked Mr. Bannerman to ask 25X1 Mr. Echols and some of his people to go to the December running. Our students will be Mr. Emmet Echols, We reserved spaces with the course coordinator and also asked her, off the record, how was 25X1 enrolled. She did not know if arrangements were made on a higher level, but that he appeared at the door, filled out the application and attended. The bill is on the way.
