a. On 7 March I visited-with hr. - and
reviewed with the Covert Training staff recent interdepart-
mental developments in "counter-insurgency" and their proba-
ble significance to our training, with emphasis on training
of foreigners.
b. On notification by Dr. - I arranged with Ken
for the transportation and training
of two 18-22 March.
c. Arrangements were made for Mr. of PMG and

time and training of Basic PM Course #3 and con-
sult with staff.
d. On 5 and larch, I attended the first two
meetings of Mr. Rostow's "Interdepartmental Committee
on Counter-Insurgency Training Objectives," and joined
in meetings with Messrs. and

regarding this matter.
