SEC. Fl,r the guidelIre of (.he Il'edcra-1 Government, the Secretary
shall prwulutgale in (lie name of (he Board, from time, to time, and in
such loan as will carry out the purposes of this Act, decisions with
respect to geogunpbii. i antes aid principles of geographic nomencla-
ture and ortbography. The, Secretary shall also furnish such addi-
tional in fllrrnat ion with respect to geographic names as will assist in
carrying out the purposes of this Act.
Sic. Et. With respect to geographic names the pertinent decisions
and principles issued by the Secretary shall be standard for all mate-
rial published by the Federal (lovernmeat. The United States Board
on Geographical Names in the T)epertment of the Interior created
by Executive order, is hereby abolished, and the duties of said Board
are transferred to the Boa id herein created, and all depart agents,
and aovu(-ies of the Federal (government shall refer all geo-
bureaus

graphic names and problems to the said Board for the purpoe of
elinlinatang duplication of work, personnel, and authority.
SEC. 7. Nothing in this Act shall be construed as applying to the
naming of the ofliccs or establishments of any Fedearal agency.
SEC. S. 't'here are hereby authorized to be approj)riated such sums
as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.
