1. AF/OS was in Headquarters on Tuesday, 19 March. He met
with Chief/CI Staff concerning the possibility of the latter3s
contributions to the forthcoming Operations Course #LI.. AF/OS
25X1A6a also discussed several matters of interest to Operations School/
M with 'C/OS.
25X1 9a 2. AF/CS and spent several hours at the FBI
Training School at (uantico, Virginia, on 19 March. Their primary
purpose for the visit was to examine the different types of firing
ranges used by the FBI in training Special Agents in instinctive
firing. Several valuable ideas were obtained during the visit.

several matters pertaining to evaluations and instructional tech.

The briefings covered the purposes, principles, and procedures
of training evaluat3 on* functions of the HQS Assessment & Evalu-
ation Staff., particularly as they relate to training evaluation
(including the processing of training evaluation reports); and
specific evaluation procedures and devices used in the 00. The
last part will be completed with an additional three-hour session
nit week.
2. Summaries of comments from OC #3 student critiques for
weeks 13-11 and weeks 15?l6 were completed and submitted to
AF/OSm

21 March for conferences regarding future development's in our

had little previous experience with training evaluation and who
