A trial-run of a new one-half-day orientation course entitled "Defense
Against Communist Interrogation" has been scheduled for 2 May. It will be
attended by Mr. H. Gates Lloyd, Assistant Deputy Director (Support) and
the members of his committee responsible for the CIA policy for captured
Agency personnel. If the committee approves, this course will then be
offered to Agency personnel going overseas.
a. During the past week Messrs gave 25X1A9a
tutorial training to the Chief of Station - designate.
b. C30 No. 9 is now in its final week.
a. The second running of the half-day Information Reports course
will conclude on 5 April. Seven students were enrolled.
d. The sixth running of Information Reporting, Reporter end. Requirements
starts 8 April. A capacity class of 15 students has been enrolled. One
additional tutorial student will attend for two weeks.
e. Two persons going to the field were given tutorial training in
n= during the past week.
f. lectured to the Operations Course at 25X1A6a
on 2 Apra .
g. Preparations have been completed for the sixteenth . running of the
Clandestine Services Review Course, 8-25 April. There are forty students
enrolled in it and will be the instructor in charge of this
running.

b. The tenth wing of the Cable Refresher course for headquarters
personnel had 66 students in attendance frcmt 0900 to 1300 hours on
27 rch. Seventy-five students were registered. The course consisted
of three lectures: "Prescribed Practices," given by
telligence School; "Technical Considerations. given by
chief Si Center; and "Orgaunization and Ca?unication
of Content," chief instructor of reports training, Operations
School. The seam to get across to the stunts. The only noticeable
weakness in them was a certain amount of repetition that in future runnings
can be eliminated by better dovetailing.
