MEMORANDUM FOR: Mr. Blake
SUBJECT PASG Recommendation No. 7 - Directorate-
wide Counseling Program
1. Attached is a memorandum from Task Force D of the
Personnel Resources Committee on Career Counseling in the
Directorate.
2. as Chairman of this Task Force, has
submitted this memo as the initial step in coming up with
a "Directorate-wide Counseling Program." We are using this
as a trial balloon in developing the mechanics and techniques
for future topics being worked on by the Committee. Mr.
has recommended that the Board review the attached
plan of approach; if it approves of the general concept, the
plan can be further developed. The next step would be to
require each Career Sub-Group to organize their internal
counseling system and to publish a Directorate Notice
establishing and publicizing the system.
3. The Task Force Chairman and I would welcome a
chance to discuss this with you with the hope of receiving
some procedural, guidance from you.
