DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE OF PROJECT
I&S requests a transfer of funds in the amount of $50,000 to be made
from I&S-0-49 to I&S-18-49. This transfer of funds is necessary in
order to cover salaries and travel under the increased Table of
Organization, for I&S-18-49, approved 12 April 1949. The original
roject was approved in the amount of $100,000 of which approximately
55,000 has been expended. There are sufficient unobligated funds
in I&S-8-49 to meet the increased needs of I&S-18-49.
