DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE OF PROJECT
In ORE-19-49 the Director approved expenditure of $200.00 of
unvouchered funds for procurement of maps abroad, to be paid out of general
funds available for map procurement. ORE now requests an additional
$200.00 unvouehered funds from Fiscal Year 1949 appropriations for similar
procurement. Experience under the original project indicates that the
funds there made available were properly expended, and that maps of
intelligence interest were delivered to CIA.
