As a.result of storms the amount of floating mines in the Baltic
has increased. It is imperative that all precautionary measures be
taken ? a strict watch of the horizon be kept. Position of floating
mines to be reported instantly.

Tae number of floating mines has increased due to the stormy
weather conditions experience in the fall and winter. I suggest
that all captains of vessels keep a lookout. In the event of mines
being spotted, timely information required.
