Approved For Release 1999/09/10 :~A-RDP78-04787A000100110004-0 DD/S&T 3183- 66 16 June 1966 MEMORANDUM FOR: Chief, Administrative Staff, DD/S&T SUBJECT : OSP Comments on Agency Study of Space Requirements 25X9 25X9 1. The "total departmental personnel" figure ofdquoted in the 2 June paper from O/L continues to reflect our best estimate for the 1975-1980 period. We are currently projecting about square feet for a departmental T/O of-, so the figure square feet for-people would appear to be lean by ab or 7, 000 square feet. 25X9 25X9 2. Due to the necessity for reasonably frequent contact with the CIA "front office" regarding our activities, and since our operational programs at times require immediate use of computer and communications facilities, it is our belief that OSP must con- to be located in Langley. If the entire Directorate were tinue locate _ epar e `- iii d ng in the Langley, area, with special communications and computer ,faeilities, however, we could see no o1 ectio.t to l _cluding OSP in such an arrangements,.,, 3. We do not now envisage the need for construction of special 25X1A facilities in any planned new building. Approved For Release 1999/09/10 : CIA-RDP78-04787A000100110004-0
