Director, Joint Staff
In order to promote better understanding of the mission and functions
of the Defense Intelligence Agency, this Agency conducts Project HELPFUL
semiannually for senior personnel of the Central-Intelligence Agency and
of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
2. The next presentation of Project HELPFUL will be given on 17-18 May
1966 at the Defense Intelligence School. A total of 50 spaces are available
for this session, 35 for the CIA and 15 for the Joint Staff.
3. It is requested that nominations for attendance at the May 1966
presentation of Project HELPFUL be forwarded to the Commandant, Defense
Intelligence School, to arrive no later than 2 May 1966. Nominations
should include the information listed in enclosure 1. Attendees should
report. to Building T-5 of the Defense Intelligence School, Anacostia
Annex, U.S. Naval Station, Washington, D.C. at.0830 on the first day of
the presentation.
