1. In order to promote better understanding of the mission and functions
of the Lefanse Intelligence Agency, this Agency conducts Project HELPFUL
semiannually for senior personnel of the Central Intelligence Agency and
the Organi*ation of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
2. The next presentation of Project HELPFUL will be given on 13-14
May 1970 at the Defense Intelli;enc:e School. A total of 61 spaces
are available for this session, 35 for CIA, 15 for the Joint Staff,
1 for 'State and 10 for DTA supervisory personnel.
3. It is requested that nominations for attendance at the May 1970
presentation of Project HELPFUL be forwarded to the Commandant, Defense
Intelligence School. to arrive no later than 4 May 1970. Nominations
should include the information listed in enclosure 1. Attendees should
report to Building T-5 of the Defense Intelligence School, Anacostia
Annex, U.S. Naval Station, Washington, D.C., at 0130 on the first
day of the presentation.
