1. A Project HELPFUL orientation is presented semi-annually for the
senior personnel of your organization, National Security Agency, State
Department, the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Service
intelligence chiefs for the purpose of promoting better understanding of
the mission and functions of the Defense Intelligence Agency. .
2. The next presentation of Project HELPFUL is scheduled for
3 November 1971 at the Defense Intelligence School. Thirty-five
spaces have been allocated to the Agency; however, a limited number
of additional spaces are available if desired. The presentations will
be conducted in a one-day session.
3. Request that the name, grade, social security number, and the Top
Secret clearance certifications for the selected personnel be forwarded
to the Commandant, Defense Intelligence School, Attention DIS-lA, to
arrive no later than 21 October 1971. Attendees should report at 0815
on 3 November 1971 to Building T-5, Defense Intelligence School,
Naval District Washington, Washington, D. C.
