1. Flight Safety. Area Divisions, and particularly NE, should be sure that information
concerning flight safety (hijackings, bombings, etc.) is brought to the attention of other
affected components when it is determined that the threat is a valid one and serious enough
to affect the movement of Agency personnel. If you will bring this type of information to our
attention, we will see that it gets to CPB, Commo, OTS, _ OEL and other components STATSPEC
with overseas representation. Please also advise us when the threat subsides.
2. Reminder - Letters from Divisions and Staffs to certify that all employees have
read - are due in SSA by 8 November. Please try to meet the deadline.
3. Pouch Seminar. Services Staff has held a'pouch seminar" for about 30 officers
from Logs, Commo, Div D, OTS, ands State representatives were present, and the
seminar was well received. Another is planned for Division RMO's and Log officers in
November. Call Chief, ISG for information.
