MEMORANDUM FOR: Deputy Director (Support)
SUBJECT : Medical Staff Functional Report, FY 1960
As requested, attached is a report of Medical Staff functions
and the number of personnel and funds attributable to each. While
these functions are arranged generally in order of descending priority,
each function is considered to be of sufficient importance to Agency
operations to preclude the deletion of any one function in its en-
tirety; rather, if cuts in personnel and fund$ are to be required, the
Agency medical program would be least impaired by eliminating programs
which cut across functional lines, i.e., the dependent medical program.
