1. The purpose of this meeting, which was suggested by
was to discuss the feasibility of an exchange of clerical pe_ - ______ _ . _ .
and CIA in their respective anticipated moves.
2. This conversation simply raised the question. No agreements were made,
but it was indicated that the Office of Personnel, CIA, would be glad to help
them if we can. However, it was emphasized that CIA expects to lose only a few
people as a result of moving to Langley; and that since we have no expansion
plans, we could accept only a limited number of employees who leave AEC. We
probably could not accept clerical and stenographic employees who have advanced
to the higher grades in their fields.
