You will remember that when I was in Washington last
June I spoke to you about my friend and his offer
of services to your Department in any connec on in which they 25X1A9a
might be used. 25X1A9a
is now in New York and is planning to visit
Washington in the hope that you may find time to receive him and
permit him to discuss the matter with you. Needless to say, I
shall appreciate anything you may be able to do. As I told you,
I feel that with his excellent knowledge of Spanish - he is
entirely bilingual - his background in Latin American and Spanish
Affairs, and his many contacts both in Latin America and Spain,
would, it seems to me, make him very well equipped for some form
of work in your agency. I am suggesting to him that he arrange
an appointment with you through his friend, walter wolf, brother
of Franklin Wolf, Counselor for Economic Affairs of our Embassy
here. And, I repeat, I would appreciate very much your giving
him an opportunity to talk with you.
With all good wishes,
Norman Armour
