MFMCRANDUM FOR: Director of Central Intelligence
SUBJECT Signature of Director on Public Vouchers, Form 1034
1. Attached hereto is a memorandum to the Executive from the
Deputy Executive setting forth the procedure for procurement and
replenishment of confidential funds.
2. Briefly, the following is the procedure prior to a request
for the Director's signature:
a. Voucher is prepared and signed by the Agent Cashier.
b. Voucher is approved and signed by the Chief, Finance
Division.
c. Voucher is delivered to the Budget Officer who examines
same, initials route slip, and transmits to Executive.
d. Executive examines the voucher, initials route slip,
and transmits it to the Director? whose personal signature is
required by law on vouchers of this nature.
3. The above is submitted in accordance with the Director's
request of 18 October regarding signature on Bureau Voucher 4088.
4. Attached hereto is Voucher 4355 in the amount of $573,808.69
which is submitted for signature of the Director.
