Enrollment limited to about 45, drawn from many industries Age: Thirties to early fifties; median age was 42 in 1967-73 CONTENT: The on-campus location brings to bear the University's teaching and research resources through the Program's courses in: Corporate Policy and Organization Economics Human Behavior & Organizations Finance and Quantitative Controls Marketing Management Sciences Business and Society Production and Operations Participants are encouraged to test new insights and techniques on problems from their own industry or firm. To supplement classroom interaction and the informal opportunities inherent in any well-designed executive program, faculty conferences make readily available to Carnegie participants an unusually wide range of consulting talents. The Program demands considerable individual effort of participants, as well as encompassing a full schedule of classes and case work in small groups. Participants receive three sets of readings during the months prior to their attendance. STAFF: Senior faculty of the Graduate School of Industrial Administration, employing a wide variety of teaching techniques that capitalize on the small size and balanced composition of the class.
