Directs all activities of the Central Intelligence Agency. 2. Advises the National Security Council in matters concerning such intelligence activities of the Government departments and agencies as relate to national security. 3. !Makes recommendations to the National Cecurity Council for the coor- dination of such intelligence activities of the departments and agcneies of the Government as relatc to the national security. 4. Correlates and evaluates intelligence relating to the natlorai security and provides for the appropriate diu:eninutinn cf ,nch Intelligence within the Government using where appropriate exist- ing agencies and facilities. 5. Is the principal staff officer for the Director for the control and coordination of the activities of the Cen- tral Intelligence Agency. 2. Is the channel for all sitters requiring the attention of the Director and Deputy Director. 3. Controls all liaison with the National Security Council and with non-IAC agencies. Advises the Director and other members of CIA on legal matters pertaining to the administra- tion and operations of CIA on a world-wide basis and provides essential legislative liaison ser- vice for CIA.
