SUBJECT Office of Security Statistical Report
for JULY 1968
1. The attached tables reflect some of the activities
of certain components of the Office of Security during JULY
1968.
2. The statistics in the tables are compiled by the
component concerned and refer to the current month.
3. During the past month, 301 cases were initiated
under the reinvestigation program which represents an in-
crease of 33% compared to July 1967, The receipt of overt
applicant type case reflected a decrease of 43% over the
same period while the covert case load was down 32%.
