1. On 10 Hovember the undersigned set with of 8tsff D 25X1
to discuss the writs of the captive balloon systes as emons ra eS on 29
October The purpose of the seating was to clarify the 25X1
status of this pro~eat and to detersd.ne What future efforts, if any, should
be applied to sash a delivery system.

Suggested that the possibility of a remotely con-

trolled unmanned blimp type device might be investigated and he Was in favor
of detersinin$ the saxisus range of the existing systes and asking it more
refined. t~Then ties factors were discussed he stated that he would not be
in favor of taking or sponsoring any action until the case officer mentioned
above had supplied the needed information relative to operational paraseters.

of representatives of Staff D. HoNever, exploratory work on two lines of
possible future action are planned. Proposals for a refined captive balloon
rystem and for a remotely controlled blimp will ba solicited With the under-
standing thst approval is uncertain.
